The Best Casual And Comfy Work From Home Dresses
Going on 5 years working from home and let me just say, it’s so easy to feel unmotivated to get dressed. But on the days when I would wear my pajamas while working, I didn’t really feel motivated, in fact I felt sluggish, a bit lazy and overall unproductive. Whenever I tell someone the benefits of getting dressed when working from home, they almost always assume that I mean wearing a full blouse and dress pants. And that’s not what I mean at all.

I’ve learned to find stylish alternatives to my favorite office wear. For example, instead of wearing a blouse, I will wear a puff sleeve t-shirt which still gives me the look of being dressed up, but the comfort that I love.
Summer is one of my favorite seasons to get dressed, because I can easily toss on an oversized dress that can be worn at home and I can easily get away with wearing it when I run errands as well. Below I’ve gathered some of the best casual and comfy work from home dresses.
Tank Top Dress
This dress is so comfortable and can be worn in so many ways. Wear it while you are working from home with a pair of slippers. Or you can also wear it as a swimsuit cover-up. It’s long in length and the material is very light and the sizing runs large. So it truly depends on the style you are going for. If you are not sure the type of bra you should wear, I recommend a lace bra as it will look like it’s part of your outfit. Or you could wear a bandeau bra which is my favorite.
High Low Tank Dress
The material of this dress is loose and flowy, which will hug you in all of the right places. The dress is meant to fit loose therefore making it a cute postpartum dress or even one that you can wear to hide your muffin top.
Ribbed Front Button Dress
I am a huge fan of front button dresses! This one is my favorite, I love that it comes in plenty of shades. It does run small so just keep that in mind. Another con is that the buttons are not functional because they are sown on. Other than that this dress could easily be dressed up with heels or down with a pair of sneakers or sandals.

If you are looking for something that is oversized but has that extra detail that looks very put together, then this dress is a great choice. Not only is this dress lightweight, but it is oversized, so you will probably be able to go a size down to achieve that flowy oversized look.

This dress runs a little below the knee depending on how tall you are. There are also little slits on the side which will help you to not look too frumpy. The t-shirt fabric makes it perfect for working from home or even to wear to a summer family BBQ. The drawstring along the waistline makes this a perfect dress if you want to hide your muffin top.

If you are looking for something that looks a little be like a t-shirt that you can wear at night. Then this is the dress for you. It runs extremely large so be mindful of that before you hit purchase. Many who normally wear a size large/Xlarge have downsized to a small, due to how oversized it is. The fabric is a bit heavy but depending on your height will hit you right below the knee.

These are another great H&M find! I would suggest sizing down as they do run a bit large. The sole of the shoe is a bit thicker adding an extra inch to the shoe. Because the sole is hard you could easily wear this outside if you need to go take the trash or get a package.
